Ek Minute! :D

This assignment is one of my all time favourites, not just because it was highly appreciated by the faculty members, but also because of all the drama that happened within our group during this assignment. *Sigh* The good, old memories..
Any way, it was for a subject called Visual and Design Culture. It deals with the semiotic analysis of a television commercial and it's design culture.
Below is the study done on the "Ek minute" commercial of Surf Excel's "Daag acche hain" Ad campaign.

Bingo! - "Har Angle se mmm.."!!

Here I am, after a long long time, finally blogging about my works during my two years in National Institute of Fashion Technology, New Delhi. All Rejuvenated and excited! :D
Okay! So, my first blog (not literally though) is about a group assignment from a subject called Professional Practices in which we were supposed to redesign the communication strategy used by any product brand, which in our case was Bingo, an FMCG product.
Me and the four others in my group did a LOT of rigorous brainstorming, and believe me when I use the word rigorous, and finally finalized upon introduction of an interesting merchandise in order to increase the sales of the product. The three major points of consideration being- Bingo's target group, it's current theme used for marketing and price range.
Considering these points, the merchandise chosen was a T-Shirt which looks something like this.
T-Shirt Front
T-Shirt Back
The image used at the back of the t-shirt is a Larry Kettelkamp creation; it was used because Bingo's tagline is "Har Angle se mmmmm....". And this image is an interesting visual representation of the same as it's an illusion showing the two things-
Face of a clown
Circus scene
The way to get the t-shirt  involves a whole of this complicated contest, which needn't be mentioned here (but, can be read about in the poster). What's required is the poster design we did for it's promotion and advertisement. Take a look at it-

Well, the jury was quite impressed with our work and research!
